Pride Week 2021 x More Films For Freedom Online Special Screening

ブリティッシュ・カウンシルでは、平等、多様性、インクルージョンを実現する社会を築くため、文化芸術や教育の分野でさまざまな経験や背景を持つ方々をつなぐプログラムや機会を提供しています。

LGBTIQ+をテーマにした世界最大級のオンライン映画祭『BFIフレア・ロンドンLGBTQ＋映画祭』より一部の作品を紹介する『Five Films For Freedom』プログラムもその一つです。2015年より同映画祭とパートナーシップを組み、毎年５つの作品を映画祭期間中にオンラインで無料公開しています。ホモセクシュアリティが未だに刑罰の対象となる地域を含む200以上の国や地域で、これまでに1,500万人以上の人々に視聴いただいています。

ブリティッシュ・カウンシルは「東京レインボープライド2021 」を応援し、プライドウィークにあわせて、2020年『More Films For Freedom』の参加作品でもある『The Men Who Speak Gayle』を、無料配信いたします。どうぞお楽しみください。

Five Films For Freedom is a global, online short film programme in support of LGBTIQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer) rights, in partnership with BFI Flare: London LGBTIQ+ Film Festival. Running since 2015, the programme has been seen by more than 15 million people. The films have been watched in over 200 countries and principalities, and we invite audiences everywhere to watch the films in solidarity with LGBTIQ+ communities in places where freedom and equal rights are limited.
